The Tivoli North Business Association and a dedicated crew of volunteers request your support to host the “Taste of Tivoli North”, a community based event, on Saturday, October 16th, 2010 from 12 to 6pm on Spring Road between 14th and 13th Streets, NW. Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions:

Origin of name “Tivoli North”: “Tivoli North” is the branded name of the commercial corridor in Columbia Heights along 14th Street mainly from Park Road to Shepherd Street, NW.  The name “Tivoli North” was created by the late Dr. Rafael Siguenza and the founding members to refer to the commercial corridor north of the Tivoli.

Organizer: Tivoli North Business Association with help from our businesses, neighbors,  CHSFSC’s Green Team, Neighbor’s Consejo, Councilmember Graham, and DC Government Agencies.

Purpose: Taste of Tivoli North aims to showcase talent of our surrounding community, attract neighbors to meet local business owners, highlight cleanliness, safety, and beautification.

Date: Saturday, October 16th, 2010

Beginning and ending times: Taste of Tivoli North will take place from 12 to 6pm

Location and proposed street closures: Taste of Tivoli North will take place on Spring Road between 14th and 13th Streets, NW in Columbia Heights.   Spring Road will be closed and parking will not be allowed from 7am to 10pm.
